What’s under the B 250e cabin expands both its roominess and its range. 

Located in a dedicated “energy space” is a high-performance 28-kWh

battery pack that can take you up to 87 miles on a full charge. 

And you can achieve that full charge in just 3.5 hours at a typical public 

charging station or with a 240-volt home setup.

On the road, regenerative braking recaptures energy to charge the battery as

you slow down. Optional radar-based regeneration is a Mercedes-Benz first, automatically 

maximizing energy recuperation as you adapt your speed to the flow of traffic.

Paddles on the steering wheel let you select among three recuperation levels.

And a smartphone app and EV homepage let you check the battery status, find charging stations

along a route, and preheat or precool the cabin while it’s plugged in — saving range for the road.
