The XC90 T8 Twin-Engine combines the supercharged & turbocharged Drive-E engine with a 

powerful electric motor, delivering an exhilarating driving experience while minimizing 

your impact on the environment. Fully charged the XC90 T8 Twin-Engine provides 25 miles 

of pure electric driving, covering most everyday driving scenarios, yet without ever 

having to worry about range, as the 313hp Drive-E engine can be called upon at any time.

Light up the dark. Driving in the dark just became a lot more enjoyable and safer.  

“Hammer of Thor” LED lights combine an impactful look with safety and convenience. 

They have an especially wide and long light pattern, and featuring our Active

High Beam technology you can stay on high beam all the time. You don’t have to flick 

between low and high beam, and when you meet or catch up another vehicle the system shades 

out only as much of your beam as necessary to avoid dazzling – while you still get the

benefit of a brightly lit road.

City Safety senses if you’re about to collide with the car in front and applies the brakes. 

The system is active at all speeds and can reduce your speed with up to 31 mph/ 50 km/h. 

In many situations, this can help you avoid collisions altogether or help to reduce the 

severity of a crash. As a world-first, City Safety also brakes if you’re about to turn into 

the path of an oncoming car, again helping you to avoid or mitigate a collision.
